Session 1 – Myths About Growth and Healing – Understanding Your Emotions
In our first session, we will dive into the crucial first step towards growth, which is honesty. We will process the various emotions that arise during the period of grief and loss. We will explore what grief looks like for you and how to make healthy choices while dealing with it. It is important to remember that starting over begins with you, not someone else! So, let’s take charge of our emotions and start the journey towards growth with confidence.
Session 2 - Understanding Your Identity – Who Owns You?
In our second session, we will delve into the notion that the people, places, and things that form our identity do not have to define us. We don’t have to let our past experiences or events control us and determine our identity, but opportunities for personal growth. Who or what will ultimately decide whether we are progressing towards healing and living a fulfilling life?
Session 3 - What’s the Deal with Forgiveness
During our third session, we will discuss the importance of being forgiven and forgiving others. If you want to experience forgiveness, it is essential to understand and apply three aspects of it: 1. Knowing what forgiveness is and what it is not. 2. Going through the process of pain and healing. 3. Taking the crucial steps towards forgiveness.
Session 4 - Letting Go of the Past
In our fourth session, we look at the powerful benefits of letting go of the past. What it truly means to release the chains that bind us and focus our attention on the present and future. By understanding and processing our past we can open up a world of new opportunities.
This newfound freedom can have a positive impact on all aspects of our lives, including our relationships. By pursuing healthy relationships and leaving the past behind we can create a purposeful and fulfilled life!
Session 5 - Assuming New Responsibilities
In session five, we will focus on the idea of taking on new responsibilities that have an impact on every aspect of our lives. Assuming these responsibilities is a crucial step towards achieving a sense of wholeness and completeness, but it also comes with risks. You are solely responsible for your life, and no one else can take that responsibility for you.
Session 6 Your Story – What’s Next?
In session six, we discuss who you have been in the past and why, who you aspire to become, and how you can achieve your goals. We explore how essential traits such as reliance, confidence, vulnerability, and trust can play a crucial role in how God can use your experiences and story to help others.
Session 7 - Preparing For Your Success
In session 7, we will delve into the preparation required for achieving success. We will explore how one can develop leadership skills through their thoughts and everyday life. Our focus will be on social awareness and relationship growth, which can equip individuals to lead a purposeful and successful life. In this session, you will discover just how crucial it is to have others’ support to reach your desired destination.
