About the Ministry Kit

The Ministry Kit provides the tools to offer an effective, ongoing ministry to those hurting from divorce, separation or a broken relationship.

This six-session Starting Over workshop combines a relevant message with small group discussion. Offering a Christian perspective, this proven relationship recovery program helps individuals practically process their loss and its impact on all areas of life.

The Starting Over Workshop Kit will help you to equip others to move forward with their lives during and after their struggle with the pain and disappointment of a relationship loss. Over the last twenty years, Starting Over has provided over five thousand people with practical life-giving guidelines.

The workshop leads them through the grieving process to experience real hope and healing that lasts. The workbooks include an outline for note-taking for each video session. The Leadership Guide curriculum also includes videos facilitator training, training notes and small group questions to help you to walk others through the healing process. Publicity materials are also part of the kit.

Week 1: Starting Over: Explores the myths about growth, healing and understanding your emotions.

Week 2: Understanding Your Identity: Examines “Who owns you?”

Week 3: Finding And Experiencing Forgiveness: Uncovers the need to forgive and to be forgiven.

Week 4: Letting Go Of The Past: Reveals how to cope with past relationships

Week 5: Thinking About New Relationships: Investigates loneliness, friendship and dating

Week 6: Assuming New Responsibilities: Imparts how to plan for yourself and your future.
